CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE EASTSIDE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County is seeking construction services for the Eastside Public Library project. The project involves constructing a new 17,000 square foot branch library. The contractor will be responsible for construction staging, project logistics planning, procurement, buyout, permitting, planning, scheduling, quality control, and quality assurance. The project must be completed by Spring 2027. The estimated range of costs for the construction of this project is between $8,000,000 and $9,500,000. • The project is funded through the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax Program, SPLOST 2020, Project 25. • The contractor will be required to coordinate with the Owner's issued third-party Geotechnical Services, Architect/Engineering Firm, Facilities Maintenance ACC Staff, and other owner-held consultants. • The contractor will be required to provide a preliminary project schedule and a final project schedule with construction-related tasks and an estimated project duration. • The contractor will be required to provide a price proposal and a bid bond in the amount stated in the contract documents.
