The project involves the replacement of an existing boiler (HWT) at the Trumbull Correctional Institution. The scope of work includes pulling necessary permits, draining and prepping the existing boiler, removing and disposing of the existing boiler, transporting and installing a new boiler, disconnecting and reconnecting existing gas and electric lines, and connecting existing control wiring to the new boiler. The contractor is also responsible for checking the exhaust flues and ensuring proper venting, leak checking the new piping, and starting up and checking the new boiler. • The project requires the replacement of a specific boiler model (A.O. Smith - Model: BTP-740A-104) with a new one (Bradford White - Model: D80T7253NA). • The contractor must work during normal working hours (Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm). • The project includes a 1-year warranty on all parts, in conjunction with the manufacturer's warranty.
