PKA - RFQ for Courier Services - 6 MDG

The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide courier services for the 6th Medical Group. The contractor will be responsible for picking up and delivering medical supplies, medical records, mail, laboratory specimens, and diagnostic imaging films. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months, with a 6-month option to extend services. The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and supplies to perform the services. The Air Force will evaluate quotes based on price and technical capability. • The contractor must have the ability to transport items across three required temperature ranges (frozen, refrigerated, and controlled room temperature) simultaneously. • The contractor must have a secure handling and positive control procedure for all items, including sensitive medical records and high-value pharmaceuticals. • The contractor must have a dispatch and communication system to manage both scheduled runs and on-demand/unscheduled requests. • The contractor must have a quality control plan to monitor performance and ensure compliance with all requirements.
