Description
The United States Postal Service is seeking a qualified transportation provider to perform regular box‑delivery mail service on a daily (K7) route between Chugiak, AK and the Old Glenn Highway area (H079, AK). The contractor must supply at least one 120 cu ft vehicle, staff drivers/casers, maintain insurance, and comply with USPS security, safety, and equal‑opportunity requirements. The contract runs from 16 Dec 2026 through 30 Sep 2030, with a fixed‑price annual rate, extra‑trip mileage reimbursement, and fuel‑index adjustments.
• Daily route covering ~28.7 miles, servicing ~620 mail boxes per day.
• Required vehicle, driver, and equipment standards including roof‑mounted strobe lights and a two‑way cellular phone.
