Description

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is seeking proposals for the development of a new supersonic ground-launched counter-air Enterprise Test Vehicle (ETV) missile system. The focus of the effort is on creating an affordable, digital, open/modular, and highly producible ground-launched counter-air ETV to support rapid integration and demonstration of commercial or minimally modified subsystems and components into a new missile prototype. Key features of the proposed system include the ability to house and execute the fire control system, communicate with external battle management sources, and provide launch commands. The proposal should include a technical section and a pricing section, with the technical section due on 3 August 2026 and the pricing section due on 16 August 2026. Some of the key points to consider when evaluating this opportunity include: * The proposed system must be within the limits of the provided requirements package. * The design cycle timelines provided in the Statement of Objectives (SOO) should not be exceeded. * The proposed pricing should align with the ALIN/subALIN structure provided in the "Price Section" for each respective proposed system. * The launcher fire control system is expected to be weapon-agnostic. * The presentations, including Q&A, will be at Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) level or below.

Budget estimate

$10,000,000 – $500,000,000

Estimating the budget for this opportunity is challenging due to the lack of specific information on the contract value. However, considering the complexity and scope of the project, which involves the development of a new supersonic ground-launched counter-air missile system, the budget could potentially be in the range of tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of units produced, the level of technology involved, and the duration of the contract.
