Playground Equipment Removal

The Brazosport College is seeking a qualified organization to remove and disassemble playground equipment from the Bill and Julia May Children’s Center on the college campus. The equipment was purchased using grant funding and is no longer needed due to the permanent closure of the Children’s Center. The selected organization will assume full responsibility for the removal, transportation, and site restoration, and will receive ownership of the equipment on an “as-is, where-is” basis. The proposal will be evaluated based on the organization’s ability to safely disassemble and remove the equipment, the feasibility of the proposed timeline, and the intended future use of the equipment for community or educational benefit. • The organization must provide all labor, tools, equipment, and supervision required for the removal. • The organization must ensure that all removal activities are conducted in accordance with applicable safety standards and best practices. • The organization must coordinate with designated college personnel regarding scheduling and site access. • The organization must provide proof of insurance coverage prior to the commencement of any work on college property.
