Description
The Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) Regional Contracting Office (RCO) is seeking a procurement analyst to provide support services. The contractor will be responsible for providing experienced personnel with extensive knowledge and procurement analyst experience. The contractor will provide contract policy support, including research and analysis of purchasing data, contracts, and supplier performance to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The contractor will also provide administrative support, including typing, filing, report distribution, data entry, and preparation of presentations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Utilize knowledge of procurement principles, laws, regulations, and practices to research and compile information
• Formulate planning alternatives for implementation of changes in law, regulation, and policy directives
• Perform analysis and evaluation of contracts, contracting actions, and supporting documentation
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to management officials, contracting officers, and other contract and technical support personnel
• Maintain suspense lists for contract administration activities and coordinate funding, acceptance, and payment actions with other organizations.
