Cummins Diesel Engines and Allison Transmissions Midlife Overhauls

Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit, Inc. (TCAT) invites sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide midlife overhauls of Cummins diesel engines and Allison automatic transmissions for TCAT’s fleet of transit buses. Midlife overhauls will be performed pursuant to TCAT’s preventive maintenance program and will consist of replacements of, and major repairs to, engines and transmissions. This procurement may be split into two awards and is federally funded and subject to all applicable Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements, including compliance with FTA Circular 4220.1G and 2 CFR Part 200.
