Advertisement for Notice Inviting Statement of Qualifications for Construction

The County of San Mateo Project Development Unit is seeking qualified General Contractors to submit their qualifications for construction services for the new Pescadero Fire Station #59. The project scope includes the construction of a new single-story fire station with an apparatus bay, dormitories, living spaces, and offices. The construction will feature a mat foundation supported by deep soil mixing and a cross-laminated timber roof. The General Contractors will be responsible for procuring and managing delegated design elements such as DSM piers, fire water tank, trusses, and fire sprinkler system. • The project is subject to prevailing wage rate compliance and monitoring. • Respondents must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at the time of submitting the bid. • The County will evaluate submissions based on established evaluation criteria. • The selection process will be Design-Bid-Build Best Value, and only pre-qualified General Contractors will be invited to submit a bid proposal.
