Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source: Commercial WIFI BPA Sheppard AFB, TX

The Department of the Air Force, 82d Contracting Squadron, intends to award a sole-source, single-award firm fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Boingo Wireless, Inc. for fiber optic commercial wi-fi service products at Sheppard AFB, TX. The BPA has a maximum ordering period of five years and a total ceiling value not to exceed $9,000,000. The requirement is for the procurement of high-bandwidth, low-latency commercial broadband and wireless infrastructure products to support modernized, digitally enabled training paradigms at Sheppard AFB, TX. • The BPA is a follow-on to a previous BPA, FA302021A0006, to continue essential Wi-Fi services in support of 82 TRW and 80 FTW's training needs and student learning. • Boingo Wireless has existing infrastructure and networking devices installed at Sheppard AFB through orders made from FA302021A0006. • The company also provides Enhanced Cybersecurity Controls services for the Sheppard AFB network to meet required security and privacy controls in accordance with NIST 800-53 Standards.
