Surge Tanks

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is seeking to award a firm fixed price purchase order for eight surge tanks. The surge tanks must meet specific requirements, including a 10kpsi rating, resistance to corrosion, stainless steel, 2.5 gallon capacity, and 9/16" MP ports. The contractor will be responsible for fabrication, delivery, and installation of the surge tanks. The government will evaluate all timely quotes received from eligible vendors based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must provide verification or certification addressing the gas tanks (inert) including the specified requirements. • The contractor must include all applicable costs in their quote. • The contractor must notify the Contracting Officer thirty days in advance if the delivery schedule cannot be met. • The government reserves the right to conduct discussions if the Contracting Officer later determines them to be necessary.
