Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to procure a 3500XL HID Genetic Analyzer and related products from Life Technologies Corporation on a sole-source basis. The requirement is for the FBI's Laboratory Division to support the processing of known reference samples and case work evidence. The contract will be for a firm fixed price, and the delivery shall be within 120 days after receipt of the order. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by submitting a capability statement, including their experience, equipment, and ability to provide the required instrument without compromising quality, reliability, safety, accuracy, and schedule.

• The FBI has determined that Life Technologies Corporation is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the required products.
