Description
The Grand Rapids Public Schools is seeking a general contractor to replace an existing cast iron sectional hot water boiler with two new high-efficiency boilers at C.A. Frost Middle High School. The selected contractor will be responsible for demolition, disposal, concrete pad work, piping, pumps, air intakes, flues, associated roofing work, electrical, controls, and all related work to ensure a complete functioning system. The project includes factory start-up, testing, and balancing. Key aspects of the project include:
• Replacement of the existing boiler with two new high-efficiency boilers
• Demolition and disposal of the existing boiler
• Concrete pad work and piping
• Installation of pumps, air intakes, and flues
