Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking bids for the provision of lighting cabinets. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for four additional one-year periods. The successful bidder will be required to provide lighting cabinets that meet the specifications outlined in the solicitation. The cabinets must be aluminum weatherproof enclosures with circuit breaker panel boards, 20-amp circuit breakers with duplex receptacles, transformers, contactors, fuses, cabinet lights, and all other equipment as specified. The bidder with the lowest price will receive the maximum score, and the bidder with the best delivery time will receive maximum points.
• The lighting cabinets must meet the specifications outlined in the Kentucky Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2026.
• The cabinets must be UL listed and installed according to the manufacturer's recommendations and the National Electric Code (NEC) 2023.
• The vendor must provide a warranty that the product will perform in accordance with the requirements of the specifications and be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years.
• The vendor must provide documentation that the cabinet, wiring, and all components are an approved assembly or stamped by a licensed professional Engineer.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable statutes, regulations, and policies related to this procurement.
