Description
The Navy Region Southwest Qualified Recycling Program is issuing an invitation to bid on the sale of Fiber & Plastic (Bales) located at Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada. The bid includes three lots: White Ledger Bales, #1 PET NonCRV Bales, and Newspaper Bales. Bidders must submit their bids by 12:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) on March 10, 2026. The successful bidder will be notified in writing within two business days of bid closure, and the award date of a successful bid is the start date for removal purposes.
• The buyer must remove the material within 30 business days of the award.
• The buyer assumes full liability for all taxes applicable to its property, income, and any transactions arising from or in connection with the performance of this agreement.
• The buyer must furnish any insurance and vehicles required by Nevada state regulations upon request by any Navy personnel.
• The buyer shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the NRSW QRP, the U.S. Navy, the United States, and their officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, judgments, suits, losses, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of or in connection with this agreement or any acts or omissions of the buyer or its subcontractors, agents, representatives, or employees.
