TERM CONTRACT FOR VOICE AND DATA COMMUNICATION CABLING

City of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified vendor to enter into a term (indefinite‑delivery) contract to provide voice and data communications cabling services across city facilities. The contract covers the supply, installation, testing, certification, and warranty of low‑voltage structured‑cabling (Category 6A, Category 5E, fiber optic, coaxial) as well as related hardware (patch panels, jacks, faceplates) and associated labor. Bids must be submitted electronically via the City’s Vendor Self‑Service (VSS) portal, with required forms, M/WBE inclusion documentation, and bonding/insurance certifications. The base term is three years, with optional renewal quantities estimated on a time‑proportionate basis. The City retains the right to terminate with 30‑day notice and imposes strict performance‑bond, insurance, and DEI compliance requirements. • Provide full‑duplex, low‑voltage cabling (copper and fiber) in accordance with NEC, TIA/EIA, BICSI, and City IT standards. • Perform 100 % testing and electronic submission of test results; maintain a 25‑year manufacturer warranty and 1‑year workmanship warranty. • Meet M/WBE subcontracting goals (2 % MBE, 2 % WBE) and submit required DEI‑147 and tax‑good‑standing forms.
