Furniture Purchase & Installation for Parks & Recreation and City Manager's Office

The City of Ames is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the purchase and installation of office furniture for the Parks & Recreation Administration Offices, the Parks & Recreation Maintenance Shop, and the City Manager’s Offices. The successful bidder will be required to provide a detailed statement covering experience on similar work, list of equipment that will be used on the proposed work, and such statement of their financial resources or other data as may be deemed necessary. The project duration is expected to be 60 days after the product becomes available. The vendor shall be responsible for delivering, unloading, and moving all products to each location, and for the removal of all packing, packaging, cardboard, and debris from the site. • The project requires the purchase and installation of furniture for three locations. • The vendor must have a minimum of five years’ experience specializing in designing, manufacturing, and servicing HON systems furniture. • The vendor shall provide a timeline for installation and shall include with their bid, how they propose to stage the delivery, installation, and the removal of the debris at each location. • The vendor shall work with the City personnel to schedule delivery and installation. • The vendor shall supervise, inspect, and direct the work competently and efficiently, devoting such attention thereto and applying such skills and expertise as may be necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications.
