Description
The Savannah Airport Commission is seeking bids for the restoration of the North Economy Parking Garage and Long Term Hourly Parking Garage. The project includes concrete repairs, joint repairs, and roof cleaning. The contractor will be responsible for mobilization, general requirements, safety, security, and maintenance of traffic. The project is expected to last 150 calendar days and will be bid as lump sum bid items.
• The contractor shall comply with all requirements of the airport security plan and with the security requirements specified herein.
• The contractor shall designate a "Contractor Security Officer" (C.S.O.) to represent the contractor on the security requirements for the contract.
• The contractor shall be responsible for all permitting associated with this work and coordinating and obtaining any required permits.
• The contractor shall acquaint its supervisors and employees with the airport activity and operations that are inherent in this active air carrier airport and shall conduct its construction activities to conform to all routine and emergency requirements and guidelines on safety specified in the contract documents.
