The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Build Plumbing Infrastructure Repairs Ext Site Incoming project located at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. The project involves replacing the entire existing facility water piping due to failures and deterioration. The scope of work includes utilizing two city water line tie-ins, running piping with shut-off valves, and building a small structure to house the VA Required Water Treatment Equipment. The project is expected to be completed within 455 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Key aspects of the project include: • Replacement of the entire existing facility water piping • Utilization of two city water line tie-ins • Installation of piping with shut-off valves • Construction of a small structure to house the VA Required Water Treatment Equipment • Installation of pipes with shutoff valves to buildings throughout the campus • Tie-in to all VAMC structures (approximately 8 tie-ins)
