Description
The VA National Tele-EEG and Tele-Epilepsy program (NTEEG-EP) is seeking information from industry to create a program for providing critical ambulatory electroencephalogram (EEG) technical support services for Veterans. The services will involve providing comprehensive EEG recordings at the Veterans' home, with certified, trained personnel setting up and acquiring comprehensive EEG recordings for a minimum of 48 hours in duration. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all equipment, materials, and human resources required to have an EEG Technologist follow the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society Guidelines (ACNS). The contractor must ensure the secure retention and availability of EEG studies to the NTEEG-EP Program via an interoperable interface. Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing comprehensive EEG recordings at the Veterans' home
• Utilizing industry-standard protocols to ensure the acquisition of high-quality ambulatory EEG studies
• Ensuring the secure retention and availability of EEG studies to the NTEEG-EP Program via an interoperable interface
• Maintaining consistent quality and service protocols across applicable regions
• Providing ongoing support to the NTEEG-EP team, training on the contractor interface programs, and being available to the NTEEG-EP for clinical and operational inquiries to support patient care outcomes
