Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to purchase five 53-foot enclosed dry van semi-trailers for use as stationary or semi-stationary storage units. The trailers must provide secure, weather-tight protection from Florida heat, humidity, and rainfall, and be suitable for long-term storage of palletized supplies and equipment. The contractor shall furnish and deliver the trailers to designated locations in Florida within 30 calendar days after receipt of order.
• The trailers must have a rear roll-up door to ensure safe and functional access at loading docks of varying elevations.
• The trailers must be new, commercially manufactured, and free of structural defects, corrosion, leaks, or damage.
• The contractor must provide a standard commercial manufacturer warranty covering structural integrity and workmanship.
• The contract is a Firm-Fixed-Price supply acquisition, and the contractor must be a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) concern registered and verified in the Small Business Administration (SBA) and System for Award Management (SAM.gov).
