Install Crane Rail Cross Bracing in a Building

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport is conducting market research to identify parties interested in installing additional bracing of crane rails in a building. The project requires the contractor to relocate existing utilities and weld additional bracing to the crane rails. The key tasks include relocating high-pressure air lines and electrical lines, welding new gussets and plate stiffeners, and attaching new bolted cross bracing to the gussets. • The contractor must provide labor, materials, and equipment to accomplish the work. • The contractor must relocate existing utilities to accommodate the additional bracing. • The contractor must weld new gussets and plate stiffeners and attach new bolted cross bracing. • The Government will not pay or reimburse respondents for information submitted. • The response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award.
