Description
The U.S. Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified locksmith firm to provide comprehensive lock installation, repair, maintenance, re‑keying, and emergency lockout services at DOT Headquarters and two FAA facilities in Washington, DC. The contract is a fixed‑price, fully‑loaded hourly rate arrangement with a base year and up to four one‑year options. The contractor must meet stringent security clearances, possess experienced personnel, and supply all parts, tools, and documentation within the hourly rate.
• Perform installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and emergency lockout services for mechanical, electronic, and specialty lock hardware across three federal sites.
• Provide qualified locksmith personnel (high‑school diploma + 3‑5 years experience) who pass FBI fingerprint, USCIS, and NCIC background checks and sign NDAs.
• Bill only for actual hours worked (estimated 1,248 labor hours per contract year) at a fixed fully‑loaded hourly rate; submit monthly draft and final invoices via Delphi eInvoicing.
