S&RTS - Ports of Virginia

The opportunity is for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at the Ports of Virginia, which includes managing US Military cargo. The services required include vessel, truck, and rail loading and discharging, port reception and disposition, cargo management, intra-port transfers, vessel prep, documentation, and warehousing/storage of materials. • The contractor will handle import and export of Defense Transportation System sponsored and non-sponsored cargo. • The contractor will provide all stevedoring and longshoring services required to manage vessel, truck, and rail loading and discharging. • The contractor will be responsible for cargo management, including staging, preparation, and onward movement. • The contractor will provide documentation services, including tallying and checking. • The contractor will be responsible for warehousing and storage of dunnage and tiedown materials.
