Citywide Surveying Services

The City of Denton is seeking a professional surveying services firm to provide citywide survey services on an as-needed basis. The selected firm will provide a range of services including construction staking, field design surveys, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and preparation of easement and right-of-way exhibits. The firm will work with City personnel to accomplish stated and negotiated requirements in a professional manner, complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and City processes. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. • The firm must have experience in providing professional surveying services and must be registered by the State of Texas to provide surveying in the State of Texas. • The firm must provide insurance covering professional liability, errors & omissions, commercial general liability, business auto liability, workers' compensation, and employers' liability. • The firm must deliver a copy of all exhibits, surveying notes, and database information used to accomplish each project in both paper and electronic format, as required. • The firm must provide sealed original documents where required by the project, which shall become the property of the City of Denton.
