Improving compliance with labor laws in Mexico

The Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) intends to award a cooperative agreement to an organization to strengthen labor administration systems for enforcement and inspection and improve engagement with supply chain actors within USMCA priority sectors in an effort to reduce noncompliance with Mexican labor laws in target states. The project aims to improve compliance with labor laws in Mexico. Key aspects of the project include: • Strengthening labor administration systems for enforcement and inspection • Improving engagement with supply chain actors within USMCA priority sectors • Reducing noncompliance with Mexican labor laws in target states • Eligibility is open to any commercial, international, educational, or non-profit organization capable of successfully implementing the project • A Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number and registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) are required for applicants.
