Description
The Alabama Department of Environmental Management is seeking qualified electrical contractors to replace the existing power pole, meter box, and breaker panel at the Troy Air Monitoring Site, and to install three new weather‑proof GFCI duplex receptacles with underground conduit. The work includes removal of existing infrastructure, installation of new pole and meter box, a new breaker panel with three dedicated 20 A circuit breakers, grounding, trenching for conduit, and wiring to each outlet, all in compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Remove existing pole, meter box, wiring, and outlets; install new pole, meter box, and breaker panel with three 20 A breakers.
• Install three NEMA 3R weather‑proof GFCI duplex receptacles on platforms, each on a dedicated circuit using minimum 12 AWG wire.
• Perform trenching and underground conduit installation, ensuring proper grounding and code‑compliant heights.
• Provide all labor, materials, safety procedures (LOTO, confined‑space), and required documentation as per bid requirements.
• Complete the project within the bid window (July 16‑21 2026) and adhere to all state and local electrical regulations.
