Owner's Representative for Palm Springs Convention Center Renovation and Expansion Project

The City of Palm Springs is seeking a qualified firm to serve as Owner’s Representative (OR) for the comprehensive renovation, urban‑connectivity upgrades, and future east‑expansion of the Palm Springs Convention Center (PSCC). The OR will act as the City’s single point of accountability, managing design teams, overseeing construction, ensuring compliance, and providing regular reporting across three distinct project stages. The contract is a three‑year, not‑to‑exceed (NTE) agreement with two optional one‑year extensions, and the selection will be based on a best‑value technical‑plus‑price evaluation. • Provide full‑service Owner’s Representative functions for Stage 1 (interior/exterior renovations), Stage 2 (urban‑connectivity planning), and Stage 3 (future east‑expansion). • Manage design‑builder coordination, conduct constructability and value‑engineering reviews, handle construction administration, inspections, and warranty close‑out. • Deliver regular status reports, cost and schedule controls, environmental compliance coordination, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
