Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Johnson & Johnson MedTech to provide Carto Service for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs Hospitals in VISN 21. The contract service shall ensure that the equipment functions in conformance with the latest published edition of NFPA-99, UL, VA, and CDRH. The contractor shall perform preventive maintenance services, including cleaning, reviewing operating system software diagnostics, calibrating and lubricating the equipment, and performing remedial maintenance of non-emergent nature. The contractor shall also provide loaner equipment, parts, and labor to maintain the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
• The contract will cover at a minimum the following: New Equipment or Software Upgrades, CARTO 3 System Premium Service for Existing System, and Service features including parts, labor, and associated travel to service equipment by local Service Engineer.
• The contractor shall maintain the equipment in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer's specifications.
• The contractor shall provide repair service which may consist of calibration, cleaning, oiling, adjusting, replacing parts, and maintaining the equipment.
• The contractor shall provide documentation of services performed, including a detailed description of the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance procedures performed.
