Richland Chambers Power Pole Replacement

The Tarrant Regional Water District is seeking proposals for the replacement of five existing power poles and wooden cross arms on two additional poles at their Richland Chambers site. The project involves installing new wooden poles and updating all associated hardware. The goal is to replace the existing poles that are in danger of failure due to woodpecker damage. The replacement must be done "hot," and the vendor will be responsible for coordinating with Navarro Electric coop to have the recloser set to one shot. • The project location is at the Richland Chambers Compound, 140 FM 416, Streetman, Texas 75859. • The work is to be performed between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with pre-approval required for work during other times. • The vendor must guarantee all work, including materials and workmanship, for a minimum of one year from the date of full acceptance. • A pre-bid meeting and site visit are mandatory, and a bid received from a bidder that did not attend will be returned and considered non-compliant. • The evaluation criteria include price (40%), experience completing similar projects (25%), project approach (20%), and references (15%).
