Description
The VA is seeking a qualified contractor to fully renovate Building 13 on the Castle Point Campus. The work includes complete exterior masonry repair, brick replacement and tuck‑pointing, full roof replacement (membrane, metal and shingle sections), hazardous‑material abatement (asbestos tar vapor barrier and flashing, lead‑based paint), demolition of existing stairs and façade elements, new concrete footings and paving, and associated site safety, security‑badge, and infection‑control requirements. The contract is a 100 % SDVOSB set‑aside, with a 180‑day performance period after notice to proceed.
• Brick veneer replacement and mortar tuck‑pointing across the façade.
• Roof removal and installation of EPDM membrane, metal roofing, and shingle roofing systems, including asbestos‑containing tar‑vapor barrier removal.
• Demolition and reconstruction of exterior stairs, concrete work, and site‑utility coordination.
• Mandatory VA security badge processing, ACC platform usage, and strict safety/infection‑control protocols.
