Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Department of Military Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to completely replace the roofing system at Bluegrass Challenge Academy in Fort Knox. The scope includes removal of the existing roof down to the deck, installation of tapered insulation, gypsum roof cover board, and a new two‑ply modified‑bitumen asphalt roof, plus all associated metal coping, gutters, downspouts, flashings, and terminations. Bids must be submitted electronically through the state e‑procurement system by the closing date. A site visit is scheduled for contractors to review conditions.
• Remove existing roof system to deck level
• Install new tapered insulation and gypsum cover board
• Install 2‑ply modified bitumen asphalt roofing
• Provide and install metal coping caps, gutters, downspouts, flashings, splashes, and terminations
• Submit electronic bid with official bid document and any required bid bond
• Site visit on 11/12/2026 (optional)
