CITYWIDE SHREDDING AND SECURE DESTRUCTION SERVICES

The City of Vallejo is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive shredding and secure destruction services for all city departments and facilities. The contractor must supply locked collection containers, handle scheduled and on‑call pickups, maintain chain‑of‑custody, and issue certificates of destruction for each service event, while ensuring recyclable disposal of paper and compliance with security and background‑check requirements. This is a citywide, multi‑location service that can be modified by the City during the contract term. • Provide and manage locked containers of various sizes (64‑gal, 96‑gal, etc.) across dozens of municipal sites. • Perform regular (weekly/bi‑weekly/monthly) and on‑call shredding pickups, with optional bulk‑purge services. • Maintain strict chain‑of‑custody, secure transport, on‑site or off‑site destruction, and issue audited certificates of destruction after each event. • Meet insurance, background‑screening, and recycling requirements; retain records for audit; and assign dedicated account representatives.
