J034--Elevator Service Contract with a Base year plus (4) Year ordering periods for the G.V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson MS 39216

The Department of Veterans Affairs, G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery VA Medical Center, is seeking a contractor to provide elevator preventive maintenance and repair services for 17 elevators, 2 cart lifts, and 3 dumbwaiters. The contract will be for a base year with four option years. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supplies, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work. The contractor will also be required to provide a qualified elevator mechanic to accompany third-party inspectors during inspections. The government reserves the right to make any test or inspection it deems necessary to ensure that all performance requirements are maintained. • Elevator preventive maintenance and repair services • Inspection and testing of elevators • Repair and replacement of parts • Maintenance of fire-fighter service • Compliance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) standards • Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
