Description
The Kent Intermediate School District is seeking bids from qualified contractors to replace the existing greenhouse roofing glass with new polycarbonate twinwall roofing systems for three adjoining greenhouse gable roof structures. The project includes material procurement, demolition, installation, fastening, weatherproofing, and final cleanup. The contractor shall employ staff competent and experienced with roof replacement and installation. The project is expected to be completed between July 1, 2026, and August 21, 2026.
• The replacement of the existing greenhouse roofing glass with new polycarbonate twinwall roofing systems
• The installation of polycarbonate panels in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices
• The provision of a 10-year manufacturer warranty for polycarbonate panels and a minimum one-year workmanship warranty
• The completion of the project within the specified timeframe
