The Hoboken Board of Education is seeking a qualified contractor to provide full‑service student transportation for the 2026‑2027 school year, covering all public‑ and private‑school students, chaperones, and staff eligible under district policy. The contract requires a fleet of school buses equipped with GPS, air‑conditioning, wheelchair lifts (for designated special‑needs routes), and car‑seat/booster provisions, as well as qualified drivers and aides who meet stringent New Jersey background‑check, health‑testing, and certification standards. Bidders must submit sealed bids on a per‑diem basis, include adjustment and aide costs, provide a 5 % bid guarantee (≤ $50k), and post a performance bond equal to the annual contract value.
