Description
The Fayette County Public Schools district is seeking a qualified contractor to establish a multiyear contract for the procurement, delivery, and warranty service of school transportation buses. Over a five‑year period the district anticipates ordering approximately 15 buses each year, a mix of 48‑ to 54‑passenger special‑needs buses and 72‑passenger general‑use buses, to replace or augment its fleet. The contract will cover full specifications (engine, chassis, safety equipment, wheelchair lifts, video systems, etc.), delivery to the Goza Road Operations Center, warranty service, and optional extended warranties. Proposals must include technical data, certifications, insurance, cost breakdown, and three recent client references. Evaluation will be based on qualifications (30%), proposal quality (40%) and price (30%).
