The West Virginia Purchasing Division, on behalf of the WV Department of Education, is issuing an open‑end statewide RFQ to establish a multi‑award contract for the procurement of school buses (conventional, transit, and special‑needs) for the FY2026‑27 school year. Vendors must meet West Virginia’s minimum design and equipment standards, provide line‑setting tickets, and submit applications for title in advance. The contract will be used by any state agency or local school board across all 55 counties, with an estimated purchase volume of 250‑300 buses. Delivery must occur within 365 days of order receipt, and the state may conduct site visits of manufacturing facilities.
