Description
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking qualified contractors to replace the dietary and laundry domestic hot‑water storage tanks at the Newton Correctional Facility. The scope includes removal of existing tanks and one expansion tank, installation of a new expansion tank, temporary removal and re‑installation of louvers, air‑intake plenum, and exhaust ductwork, necessary plumbing revisions, crane operations for tank placement, and accommodation of an additional lift for an owner‑furnished transformer. All work must comply with the provided drawings and specifications and be completed within the bid period.
