The City of Nashua is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to conduct a pilot study evaluating foam fractionation treatment technologies for the removal of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from landfill leachate at the Four Hills Landfill. The pilot study will assess the effectiveness of candidate treatment systems and establish key design parameters for a future full-scale PFAS treatment system. The selected vendor will provide equipment, labor, and materials necessary to perform the on-site study under the oversight of the City, Sanborn Head, and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES).
• The pilot study will evaluate PFAS removal efficiency, operational performance, and waste generation while supporting the City's efforts to address PFAS compounds regulated by USEPA and NHDES and improve long-term leachate management at the Facility.
• The City encourages disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) participation from contractors and/or subcontractors.
• The selected vendor will be required to provide certificates of insurance for coverage as listed in the contract.
• The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals on any basis and without disclosure of a reason.
