Notice of Intent to Sole Source to CAPITAL ECONOMICS (N.A.) LIMITED

The Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration (EIA), intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Sole Source award to CAPITAL ECONOMICS (N.A.) LIMITED. The requirement is to procure Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO), Annual Energy Outlook (AEO), and International Energy Outlook (IEO). The anticipated period of performance will be a one-year Base Period and four optional one-year periods. • The award will be utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Products. • Responses must be supported with strong and convincing evidence that clearly articulate the company's ability to satisfy this requirement. • A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. • If no responses that demonstrate comparable capability are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of the notice, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
