Description
The San Bernardino County, Project and Facilities Management Department is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide pest control services at various County locations. The contract will have a maximum term of 5 years, with an estimated budget of $1,000,000. The contractor will be required to provide on-call pest control services, as well as monthly pest control services, with a response time of no more than 2 hours. The contractor must also comply with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations, including the California Public Works Apprenticeship Requirements.
• The contractor must provide relevant project-related background information, including County and project history, geography, staffing/personnel, legal requirements, risk factors, and constraints.
• The contractor must employ apprentices in accordance with Labor Code section 1777.5 and the California Code of Regulations, title 8, sections 230-230.2.
• The contractor must submit contract award information (DAS-140) to an applicable apprenticeship program and make training fund contributions to the California Apprenticeship Council.
• The contractor must comply with all requirements outlined in the RFP, including the scope of work, contract terms, and local preference policy.
