The Bakersfield City School District is seeking a single vendor to supply, kit, deliver, and install all classroom and STEAM‑academy consumables for eight district schools. The contract is awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and requires full‑scope pricing (no “all‑or‑nothing” partial bids). All items must be shipped FOB the district, kitted by grade level, and set‑in‑place by the firm deadline of June 1 2026.
• Provide a comprehensive list of over 50 classroom‑supply line items (folders, art supplies, markers, scissors, glue, etc.) in quantities ranging from 21 to 91 kits per grade‑level sheet.
• Submit a sealed, paper bid (no electronic or fax submissions) by February 5 2026 11:00 a.m., including required non‑collusion and conflict‑of‑interest declarations.
• Offer any acceptable product substitutions (with samples) by January 22 2026; the district will decide on acceptability by January 28 2026.
• The vendor assumes all transportation risk to the district’s address, must install the kits on site, and must honor a price‑freeze through June 30 2026.
