Description
The Muskegon Area Intermediate School District (MAISD) is seeking a general contractor for the interior renovations of their administrative offices located at 630 Harvey Street, Muskegon, MI 49442. The project includes all labor, materials, and permits necessary for the complete construction of the renovations. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining proper barricades and protection for the public, as well as providing a full-time field superintendent. The project is expected to be completed by September 2026.
• The contractor must furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond covering 100% of the value of the project.
• The contractor must comply with the City of Muskegon's requirements for bonding, insurance, and licensing.
• The contractor must provide operation and maintenance data for the installed equipment.
• The contractor must maintain accurate records of all changes in the contract documents.
Some of the key work included in the project are:
• Interior renovations of the administrative offices
• Electrical distribution throughout the renovation
• Installation of light fixtures, wiring devices, conduit, and wiring
• Performance of all related caulking, marking, and coding
• Cleaning of electrical equipment
• Factory rep inspection and demonstration
• Provision of all final connections to equipment furnished by others
• Guarantee of field record drawings and systems identification
