Replacement of RTU at Alarms Building

The City of Toledo is seeking qualified contractors to replace the existing rooftop HVAC unit (RTU) at the Alarms Building (550 N Erie St.). The work includes removal of the existing unit, crane handling, installation of a comparable new RTU, all associated electrical, gas, and control system integration, and full commissioning. The contract will be awarded under prevailing‑wage and Living‑Wage rules, requires a performance and payment bond, and includes a mandatory pre‑construction meeting and Project‑Labor‑Agreement for contracts ≥ $100 k. • Deliver and install a new rooftop HVAC unit with BACnet/Modbus control capability. • Provide all necessary permits, crane rental, utility shutdown, removal of the old unit, and disposal. • Complete electrical, gas‑line, and control system integration, testing, and hand‑over. • Comply with City‑wide living‑wage, prevailing‑wage, and PLA requirements; submit certified payrolls weekly after start.
