The City of Ann Arbor seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for its Water Treatment Plant. The work includes daily cleaning five days per week during overnight hours, routine and semi‑annual deep‑clean tasks, carpet shampooing, hard‑floor strip & wax, and exterior window cleaning. All cleaning equipment and consumables (except toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap) must be supplied by the contractor, and staff must meet living‑wage and background‑check requirements. The contract is for an initial three‑year term with up to two additional one‑year renewals. • Daily after‑hours cleaning (3:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) covering ~24,100 sf of office, laboratory, control rooms, restrooms, and support areas. • Required periodic services: twice‑yearly carpet shampoo, twice‑yearly hard‑floor strip & wax, and regular deep‑clean of high‑traffic zones. • Contractor must provide all equipment, maintain required documentation, and adhere to City‑mandated living‑wage rates and background‑check protocols.
