System Computer Upgrade for Zeiss Spinning Disk

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking a system computer upgrade for the Zeiss Spinning Disk confocal system. The upgrade includes a pre-configured, certified workstation with various components such as a Microscopy Workstation Premium, processor, memory, graphics card, and network adapter. The system must be compatible with the Zeiss Spinning Disk system and meet NIH security standards. The contract will be awarded on a sole-source basis to Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC, as they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and hold the exclusive proprietary rights to the software and hardware controllers required for the system. • The system must include a Windows 10 LTSC 2021 operating system • The system must be compatible with the Zeiss Spinning Disk confocal system • The contract will be awarded on a sole-source basis to Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC • The system must meet NIH security standards • The delivery timeframe is 6-8 weeks after receipt of order
