Description
The City of La Porte is soliciting competitive quotes from qualified service providers for Precision Laser Grading Services. The services include precision removal of lips from baseball and/or softball fields and preparation of sports fields for resodding. The contractor must provide precision laser grading to +/- ¼” accuracy and ensure the resulting surface is very smooth and consistent. The contractor must also replace sod and relocate irrigation heads as needed. The city requires the contractor to have sufficient crews and equipment necessary for a contract of this type and magnitude.
• The contract is for services to quickly and accurately remove surface irregularities and weeds from turf surfaces.
• The contractor must provide all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the services entirely and safely.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local safety codes, laws, statutes, and regulations.
• The contractor must maintain procedures for the safety of the public as well as work personnel and equipment involved in the project.
• The contractor must provide an appropriate staff of employees, including supervisory and administrative support staff for the efficient operation of the services described.
