Description
The City of Salina is seeking an engineering consulting firm to evaluate, design, and assist with the replacement of three deteriorated culverts on Fairdale Road. The scope includes hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, development of construction documents, easement assistance, utility coordination, and possible retaining‑wall modifications. The consultant will be selected via a qualifications process, with design completion required by early April 2027.
• Conduct alternative evaluations, hydraulic modeling, and design of new culvert structures.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, and assist with easement acquisition and utility relocation.
• Provide ongoing support through construction phase, including potential retaining‑wall modifications, without charging the adjacent property owner.
