The Naval Surface Warfare Center is seeking quotes for the manufacture of CRIMPER, BLASTING CA, which is a critical component for the M2 Blasting Cap Crimpers/Fuse Cutter. The contractor must ensure that the materials used are in compliance with the Buy America Act. The contract requires production lot testing, and the contractor must deliver all units to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division for testing. The contractor must also provide material certifications as part of the final acceptance criteria. • The contract is not a total small business set-aside. • The ultimate awardee of the proposed contract action must be an authorized source. • Quotes shall be emailed to [email protected]. • FOB destination, and quotes shall include shipping costs for shipment of units to the destination. • Production Lot Testing applies for the requirement. • The contractor shall notify the Government testing activity 90 days prior to shipment of material to be tested. • The contractor must comply with the Buy America Act. • The contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements. • The contractor must keep records of all inspection work complete and available to the Government during the performance of the contract and for a period of 365 calendar days after final delivery of supplies.
